How to automatically stop an app when you start it

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a command line that I can add to stop an application at a given time when I start it eg.

From a shortcut:

"F:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe" -killapp 09:30

So when I start a program's shortcut it will close by the time 9:30

put taskkill /f in a batch file and make it run thru sheduled task

But I would like to be able to start the app's shortcut without going through the taskscheduler

there is no sleep or wait command in windows xp but i know one comes with the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools

if you install you will be able to use the "sleep <seconds>" command in a batch file

Then make a shortcut to the batch file and use that instead of the main executable. ;)

Is it possible to run the task while starting the program? is there a command to start two programs in a short cut??
