I need a new mp3 but not an ipod mini, please help

I've read lots of reviews about the iRiver H10, and all off them said the sound quality is extremely poor...

Its sound used to be distorted when using EQ, but it was fixed with firmware update long time ago.

I'd also recommend iRiver H10, it's got a great design and a lot slimmer than Zen Micro.

Zen Micro is too thick for my taste, especially when you put it in your pocket, it will definitely stick out unlike iPod mini and H10.

Also, color screen is a big plus, it adds another "cool" factor and you can view jpg files with it, althougth a bit small.

If you can afford it, get the Sony HD3 or HD5.

Its stylish.

If not, get the Creative Zen Micro. My friend has it, and I highly recommend it. I also recommend the ipod mini. I dont know why you dont want it, but it's nothing like the iPod. I hate the iPod, but I quite like the mini.

Style is probably the last thing I will look for in a DAP, although my H10 is fancy :D

Dont even consider the HD3. No MP3 support.

HD5 is nice. If only it didnt use the crap sonicstage.

There is this gr8 site called www.dapreview.net the hav a whole form Dedicated to wat DAP should i choose, i highly recomend it. As for the one i would choose. If you want colour screen, go for the iAudio X5 or iRiver H10 but if you want gr8 battery life go for the Sony NW-H5 which bosts about its 40 HR (Atrac) or 30 Hr (mp3) battery life. The sony is the one im getting for my birthday

EDIT: The Sony NW-HD1 now has native mp3 support if yours doesn't contact sony and they will upgrade it for you, so that it does support mp3

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
