If you have followed the case, how can you not see that this whole family is only about money and that the whole story is cooked up to extrort money. There is not a shred of evidence to support the DA's claims and it is apparent that the strategy is simply to throw enough **** and hope that some of it sticks. Michael Jackson is definately innocent and is the victim here. One could say that he may have brought this upon himself due to his eccentric behaviour, but the fact remains that being wierd or crazy is nto a crime.

Of course there is a "shred of evidence", to say the least. Do you realize how difficult it is to convene a Grand Jury and have them agree to allow a prosecution of set charges? You can't just make up crap and have absolutely no evidence and/or probable cause and set a massive criminal trial in motion. Obviously there was enough out there for the system to believe that there is a definite possibilty that these charges are valid. Now, does that make him guilty? Of course not, but there's enough questionable activity and behaviour (repeated accusation, jesus juice, etc.) to go forward and hash this thing out.

And I want to add one other point, it is troubling that so many folks want to discard these charges because the mother and maybe the child are grifters. That makes them suspect and open to far more scrutiny, but does not mean that they are fabricating the story. Taking it down to the most simple terms, it's like the boy who cried wolf analogy. He lied the first couple of times so that the third time people just tossed his "cries" aside, but of course that time it was true. Sorry for using some old fairy tale, but it serves for a good example.

If my Son were abused by anybody I would want him/her to be locked away and throw away the key and let him or her rot in jail... The problem with society these days we are all blinded by status...? It does not matter who they are and/or what they do for a living, abusing a child is wrong and they should be punished for their actions... Just because Micheal is a pop star are you condoning abusing children by your remark?

LOCK him up I say forget the status and who he is and I hope he does go down because I feel as 155% of viewers to this site agree he's guilty... :angry:

Sorry but no, since I'm really interested in studying law I decided to watch the case carefully and read about it so I can me saying he's innocent it's not based on his "STATUS" ...

He already admitted that he had sexual relations with children.

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure what he admitted to was sleeping in the same bed with children - what you said would be a crime, and he could be put in jail for admitting it, and we wouldn't be going through the whole trouble of trying to establish his guilt.

I think it's important we make the distinction between "sleeping" with boys and "having sexual relations" with them. Technically one can "sleep" with boys and incur no legal penalties - it is only when one has "sexual relations" with them that we cross into illegality. So, though he did say that freely, the stated act isn't illegal (though it certainly is strange and leads one to wonder...). If he'd said "I have sex with little boys" out of court, then they could simply bring new charges against him based on his own words (assuming he'd be willing to repeat the statement under oath)

That poor screwed up thing is not only guilty but strange, (cracked, crazed, cuckoo, daft, delirious, demented, deranged, dingy, dippy, erratic, flaky, flipped, flipped out, freaked out, fruity, haywire, idiotic, insane, kooky, lunatic, mad, maniacal, mental, moonstruck, nuts, nutty, potty, psycho, screw loose, screwball, screwy, silly, touched, unbalanced, unglued, unhinged, unzipped, wacky),

They didn't call him "whacko jacko" for nothing.

If it was some ordinary joe in the suburbs converted his house to a kids playcentre and invited young pubescent boys for sleepovers he would be crucified.

Wasn't it his ex-manager was found to be running a huge transnational kiddie-porn ring?
