Bit of Info from my Use

I've been using this product for about 1 month now, it is a very stable modem. Only time I need to reboot it is when my 5port router ha a problem with dataflow. Other than that, the modem has not gone down.

This modem uses Netcomm's new onboard HTTP managment GUI with access to settings for the modem, various ADSL Line tests, port forwarding and firewall info.

The firwall works extremeley well, and portforwarding has been made extremely easy and quick, with a lot of pre-set rules installed into the modem, ready for you to select.

Netcomm in Australia has been long recieved by many as a dud company, with dud products, if the new line of modems doesn't change this, nothing will.

IMO this modem is the best on the market for Australian based modems. With a 3-year warranty, you are garenteed to get a nice life out of the product.

The product also comes in the box along with a Video Tutorial CD and a PDF manual, aswell as hardcopy. Plus all ya regular stuff, line filter, RJ45 Crossover Cable, Telephone Plug Adapter, Power Cable, USB Cable.

The Bad

Only one at this stage, and that is the fact that it doesn't have a power button, so you are forced to remove the powercable from the unit. In some older Netcomm units, this could effect the details stored inside the modem's memory.

No such problems like that at this time.

Anymore info needed, let me know.
