Question
Shadrack
This is in reference to my post here, in the Web Programming Forums. I think the mods hate it when I do that....
I'm trying to get some pretty simple functionality for our telephones. We have a 3Com NBX system and the NBX TAPI Service Provider (r5) to connect computers to our phones. I'm trying to give my users some functionality with out client database, so they can just click on an icon next to the client name in a web page or within Access and their phone will dial the number.
I think I could do it with an ASP script on the server side, if the server had all the phone extensions/passwords installed, and I had a simple COM Object I could use.
There's this object "TAPI.TAPI.1" I have installed from Microsoft, but I can't find any documentation.
I really don't mean to double post, but I think someone in here might know a little more about what I'm talking about.
Thanks!
-nic
