I've received quite a few PM's asking how to make a sig image like mine, so I just decided it would be easier to make a short guide on how to get one.

First, you'll need an Audioscrobbler account. Follow that link, sign up, then download one of the plugins from the link on the left hand side. (NB: AFAIK, foobar 0.9 beta is not supported yet - though 0.8 definitely is.)

After doing this, check first that your plugin is sending songs correctly. You'll also need correctly tagged files. If you need to tag your files, use either one of the tools at Musicbrainz or manually tag your files (I use MP3/Tag Studio, though everyone has their personal preference.)

Now onto the sigs:

- Simply go to this site and choose one of the options. NOTE: this is not my website, so if you have any problems it is unlikely that I can help.

- This is the more straightforward option of the two, however if you wish to use your own server this can also be done:

- You will need a server with PHP and GD enabled. You also need to be able to set permissions on folders. For those who do not know PHP or have their own server, or don't know what CHMOD is, it is probably wiser to use the option above. If you don't have your own server and want free PHP hosting, both f2o.org and 100Webspace offer this. I had some trouble trying to get the script working on f2o.org, though that could have just been me.

- To get the script, go here. There are instructions on that page and the script is commented, so I won't go through how to do all this here. Basically all you should need to do is CHMOD the folder containing the script to 777 and edit the script so it points to your username.

Hope this is of some help. If there's anything any one needs to know just reply to this thread and I'll try help. Also, once you have signed up for audioscrobbler you can use their forums, where there are lots of people who can help, probably more than me.

I think the owner of that site reduced it to show only 2 songs, to reduce load. after the url you previously typed type "/s/[number of songs here]/". So http://www.denness.net/rpi/username/yourusername/ would become http://www.denness.net/rpi/username/yourusername/s/4

Hmm, started hosting this one myself now, anyway i can put a swear filter in it?

You could probably add a filter function to the php script to replace swear words by using preg_replace, though I haven't looked into it much because of exams. Once they've finished i'll have a mess around.

I uploaded all the files, CHMOD'd the direc, and only changed the user line.

Can anybody help me add a swear filter to this? I've been trying and trying but I can't seem to get it to work. I know the filter I have made works (replaces all the words correctly) because I have tested it. I just can't figure out how to integrate it with the script. Whatever I try doesn't work, it either says there is no data at the txt file/feed, or doesn't replace.

I've finished setting up my Audioscrobbler account it all works great. Now, I want to chose the first option of uploading, meaning I don't have to host the files on my server (cause I don't have one).

Do I just paste this address:

Because it doesn't work, it keeps showing this defualt (?) image:

      Microsoft updates Visual Studio Code with easier language model discovery and in-app search by Paul Hill Microsoft has released Visual Studio Code 1.125, its latest weekly release. This week, the company has focused on discovering and installing extra language models via the Marketplace; searching the web and securely browsing over remote connections without leaving VS Code; choosing how long VS Code waits before installing extension updates; and delivering managed Copilot settings through existing device management tooling. In older versions of VS Code, extensions could contribute their own model providers, but to find these extensions, you needed the right tags to search for in the Extension view. While he did not elaborate on the scale of the price hikes, new estimates suggest that Pro iPhone models could become significantly more expensive this fall. The Wall Street Journal and research firm TechInsights have come up with an educated estimate of how much the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro could cost after its launch in September. The estimate is based on current increases in memory and storage chip prices. For starters, the iPhone 18 Pro base model is expected to feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. According to TechInsights estimates, 12GB of DRAM for the iPhone 17 Pro cost Apple $39 last year. However, for the iPhone 18 Pro, the cost of the same amount of DRAM could soar to $145. Likewise, 256GB of flash storage that previously cost $13 could now cost around $51. Producing a base iPhone 17 Pro reportedly cost Apple around $582, but TechInsights estimates that the production cost of the iPhone 18 Pro could rise to $726. If Apple wants to maintain the roughly 47% profit margin it enjoys on the iPhone 17 Pro, the base price of the iPhone 18 Pro would need to reach $1,371. After standard pricing adjustments, customers could end up paying around $1,299 for the base model. However, that may not be the end of the story.
