you know with him being injured I thought we wouldnt see him do any wrestling but how wrong was I.....rhino had it coming..lol..brilliant to see SABUUU...:D

I love this PPV. I'd *gladly* pay to watch ECW again...it would be nice change from the Monday Night Raw...or as we call it, the Triple-H Show. I'm amazed they didn't find a way to slip his pathetic overdone ass in there, but I digress.

I'll definately buy it when it comes out on DVD, and I watched it twice on PPV the night it was on. RVD was *awesome*...Paul Heyman was *awesome*...Sabu - *awesome*, Sandman's intro - *awesome*...the whole damn thing was just incredible. It'd have been nice to not have the WWE guys there at all, and Austin just came off as pretty weak for some reason, but all in all, it was an *incredible* show.

The Sandman's entrance rocked, even though his beer belly is bigger than ever it was still awesome. And he can still take the bumps like the best can, so can Sabuuuuu

Oh my god when Mike Awesome did that awesome bomb into the table I thought he broke Tanaka in half or as good ole JR says "MAH GAWD MAH GAWD HE KILLED HIM!!!!"

you know I thought awesome had killed himself when he dived onto the broken table to win.....that was AWESOME (no pun intended there)...did you guys see CW anderson in the front row with elektra...CW Anderson just signed deal with wwe and so has supercrazy and kid kash (haha did you see him when he entered the ring..in one side and out the next)

To be honest with all the former ECW guys WWE employs, it wouldn't be THAT much of a stretch for Vince to actually revive the brand, but that's just wishful thinking I think lol

And yes, the dive into Tanaka at the end was awesome (pun intended), Mike Awesome and Masato Tanaka are two of the BEST hardcore guys in the world ever. They can put on a show like no other, even compared to Sabu and Mick Foley. Sure Foley and Sabu are famous for their barbed wire matches and what not, but Awesome and Tanaka can wrestle, and they do such bumps, my god.

And yeah, CW Anderson and Kid Kash signed, but Elektra didn't, but I don't think Sandman cared one bit :D (tho his wife probably didn't care for that haha!)

I think the thing that made this great is that Vince didn't get "too" involved. I don't think he knows how to use ECW talent outside of an ECW style match. See RVD as the prime example.

However, I think this was a test of sorts.

It's blatantly obvious that the Smackdown brand is no longer working, and Raw is the breadwinner. I see that if this ECW one nighter pulls the money expected, we will see an ECW/Smackdown war, and lose Smackdown.

Think about it, all the good WWE talent can be traded to Raw, strengthening it. Then it gives VinnieMac the chance to lose more dead weight, and give us a proper wrestling show.

Raw can have the HHH promos, the bra and pantie matches, the storylines. ECW on a Friday (day changed due to TV deal) could give the fans what they are cheering for!

Vince often uses MSG as an indicator for what the people want, and the last few MSG shows have echoes with the yells of ECDub

you know I think vince will have to use ecw more....when its released on dvd it will sell millions and the demand will be great for it return on a regular basis...any one watch TNA?.....letes forget that federation

Yeh thats what im thinking. And with SD losing both Cena and Kurt Angle in the draft, two of their biggest stars, it definately looks as though its going to be that way. I mean, no offence to Benoit but i dont rate him to be as good as the likes of Cena and Angle. Im dreading to see who SD get from Raw this week, gauranteed to be another unfair trade.

No Benoit may not be as good a WWE wrestler as Angle or Cena, but he's a great ECW wrestler.  See where I'm going with this?

Yeh i see where you are going totally. Joey Styles has also signed with WWE now, which could mean he will be commentating on the ECW show if there is one.

love the sig kriz great moment...dont know who smackdown will get...im thinking they will get the winner of the hell in the cell at some occasion whether it be this week or next...smackdown are losing all the good wrestlers and they need a good singles title

No, I think they are going to have Christian or Jericho win the title off Cena (hey, he can't have his cake and eat it to) and then have one of them traded to Smackdown! (which gives them back the title lol)

As it is, CW Anderson hasn't signed yet with WWE, CM Punk has as has Kid Kash, Psicosis and Super Crazy. Joey Styles just signed a multi year deal (which I cannot BELIEVE he did, wow) so in the end a revival of the ECW brand may happen. I hope it does, that would rule turning on the TV friday nights and seeing ECW on a prime time slot on a better network than TNN was. Hahahha!

You know, it was surreal seeing Austin in the same ring as Sandman now that I think about it. You are taking about a guy who got his gimmick from the Sandman here, the beer drinking no rules middle finger throwing deal. Sandman had it long before Austin did, and Austin ran with it when he went to WWE back in the day. So surreal heh.

"Gimmie a beer!" "Oh look its Spike Dudley, CANE SHOT CANE SHOT!"

    • NVIDIA officially supports Ubuntu, as linked above with the GeForce NOW Hands on I did in collaboration with Paul Hill.
    • TO be clear I am not running linux today, however I keep thinking about it. And I want to make sure there are minimal obstacles if I decide to make that switch in the coming months.
    • Yes, I actually glossed over the Linux part from the OP. You could always go for a 9070 XT and if you really want to play Ray Traced games in the future, GeForce Now is pretty damn good on Linux https://www.neowin.net/news/nvidias-native-geforce-now-app-for-linux-bridges-the-gaming-gap-hands-on/
