Police said Sexton's roommates told them he had been at a Dave Matthews Band concert in Tennessee with them earlier Monday. They said he had been stressed out over trying to win the starting quarterback job.

alright, i'll give you that. if i had to rank them, miami and FSU definitely produce the worst "people" when it comes to athletes.

Definately. Last year, Chris Rix (then FSU QB) went to a Gator football game in Gainesville and he got caught in the crowd wearing a FLORIDA sweatshirt. Man, that one will never be forgotten, and now Sexton is just adding fuel to the fire. I tell you, I have no idea what Bowden feeds his quarterbacks at that school but man, have they had some whacked out QBs recently. Rix, Adrian McPherson, now Wyatt Sexton. Maybe Bowden needs to go get another Chris Weinke-type guy (you know, a 22 year old freshman who takes his job as both a student and athlete seriously).

grandpa weinke was only 22 as a frosh? i thought he started out at like 26 or something....

He graduated at 27 I believe, so he was about 22-23.

Can't edit my previous post, but I got the story wrong on what FSU QB was wearing the FLORIDA sweatshirt at the Gator game. It was in fact Wyatt Sexton, not Chris Rix. I apologize for that.

I guess that makes this guy even more of a nutcase.
