If you want to make the spanish version, the AP team is more than willing to help you! :) It's not that diffucult.

Btw, look at my new fancy signature! Thx raptor ;)

is there any way to slipstream AP with xp sp2 cd? i mean: suppose i got slipstreamed cd of xp, it is streamed with sp2. can this streamed cd slipstream once more time, this time with AP? or should i use nLITE? should i also import AMC and LST files into nLITE? i am now importing all those EXE files manually one by one. is ther any other way to do it?

If you want to slipstream hotfixes you will either have to do what you are already doing with nLite, or try a premade package made that makes slipstreaming easier. A full post-SP2 package can be found at: http://ryanvm.msfn.org/

However if you are already using nLite for other things as well, especially if you remove parts of the installation CD, then you might want to mind what patches you apply. Removing for instance Outlook Express and IMAPI CD writing and then install/slipstream related hotfixes can be counterproductive. (An installation with a lot of hotfixes can also take much longer to complete.) Instead you could slipstream just some fixes that you are sure is of good use, or keep with a clean SP2 and then run AutoPatcher and therein pick only the fixes you want/need.

I have installed already Media Player 9.0 on Windows XP Pro with Sp2 but I installed AutoPatcher XP August 2005 but it don't installed Media Player 10.

I mark during installation Media Player 10 to install but it was not installed.

Where is the problem?

Thank You.

Sincerely Yours,

Girts

1.) what did you used, the FULL or LITE version?

2.) what is the language that you need?

Running full APXP aug english. Noticed the ASPI module is not for the english install paths. Should be:

copy "Module:\WNASPIXP.DLL" "%WINDIR%\SYSTEM32\WNASPI32.DLL" /Y

md %SystemDrive%\"Program Files"\"AutoPatcher Tools"\adaptec\aspi

if exist "%USERPROFILE%"\"Start Menu"\"Programs"\"AutoPatcher Tools" goto step1

md "%USERPROFILE%"\"Start Menu"\"Programs"\"AutoPatcher Tools"

:step1

copy "Module:\aspichk.exe" %SystemDrive%\"Program Files"\"AutoPatcher Tools"\adaptec\aspi\aspichk.exe

copy "Module:\Adaptec ASPI installation checker.lnk" "%USERPROFILE%\Start Menu\Programs\AutoPatcher Tools\"

Also the windows script 5.6 has spanish phrases in it (not a huge deal but attention to detail is beat into your head in the military) Plus it makes AP just that much more professional.

same problem.

after update you have v9.

Is the Royale theme problem fixed in a similar way?

586459240

err, yes

the "Royale.amc_files" folder should be named "Royale"

we're making the transition to AutoPatcher AIO (All In One), a stage where you can put any module of any OS or language together with any other, and they will exist side by side happily. It also now allows amc files of different languages or OS's to share setup files if they apply to more than one module.

Unfortunately there seem to be quite a few small mistakes in doing so, but it is a really big job, so its completely understandable.

Mmm... how do I delete the PowerMenu? and how come windows uptime tool isn't in this version? :(

586460118

yes, the edit feature is disabled after a short period of time (with the exception of the first post)

im probably going to be making the september xp release as well as the 2k one seeing as gandolas is away, so ill see if i can add the winuptime tool.

to delete power menu from your system:

- delete the "C:\ProgramFiles\PowerMenu" folder

- delete the "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Installed by AutoPatcher" folder

(that folder is only used by this module, if used for something else, just delete PowerMenu.lnk from inside it)

- delete "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\PowerMenu.lnk"

- delete this registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\PowerMenu"

to delete power menu from autopatcher:

- delete the "C:\Program Files\AutoPatcher\modules\AddOns\powermenu" folder

- delete "C:\Program Files\AutoPatcher\modules\AddOns\powermenu_enu.amc"

- delete "C:\Program Files\AutoPatcher\modules\AddOns\powermenu_enu.lst"

Are you talking about the section Windows Addons and pointing to the module Adaptect ASPI drivers for Windows 2000 (v.4.71.2)?That's a mistype at the first place.

And yes, it's not for the English version. It's for the Dutch version!!!!!!

Everything is correctly in that module, exept the names of the folders like Menu Start and Start Menu and Programma's and Programs.

Thank you for reporting this.

^ ive fixed the "Menu Start" and "Programm's" bugs.

Now, i dont really know anything about this module...so...

1) is this the right download?: here

2) is it definately not just for XP, and is the setup definately not designed just for 2K.

If so, i'll renamed the title, and add more OS support, ill also then add it the the 2K release.

Ok,

I tried looking for the username "Torstein" and no luck...I'm assuming Pascal=DaFlapDrol?

-AJ

^ Thanks!

Greek - Nope, unless Frank still has it on the server (which is down right now).

Dutch - Pascal is working on it. It shouldn't take much longer.

Norwegian - Torstein should know.

@TheBlazingAngel,

The module was made by me for XP and the Dutch version. This modules was send to Gandolas and he should rename the difference in path names.

1.)

Yes, that's the right one for downloading and installing.

2.)

But you need to add only one file for Windows 2000. The other files not, take a look at the install.bat in the .exe file after extracting.

3.)

Raptor should have the right module, I've changed the path names and tested it on an English version. No problems here!
