Winamp 5.093: MSVCR70.DLL is Missing

Hi there. Winamp v.5.093 reports that MSVCR70.DLL is missing and that i should re-install the application but when pressing ok it continues into winamp. However, I have tried re-installing after un-install and no change. What can I do and is there a MSVCR70.DLL that needs to go somewhere?

download and put it in system32 folder or windows.

It says there is already MSVCR71.DLL in system32 and putting it in the windows folder does nothing :(

According to your first message, you're looking for MSVCR70.DLL, not MSVCR71.DLL.

Try this instead:

It's supposed to be in system32. If it's already there too, something else is wrong.

Yes, it is, but if a program is written for the older one, you need that one instead. :)

They use the particular DLL's they were written for. Older programs may need an older DLL.
