some kind of air filter like the ionic breeze from the sharper image?i know it costs money but it actually might be good in the long run since you have cats and for improved air quality.

One place I lived in the house next door burnt down and the wind blew smoke all through my house. Like you everything smelled of smoke, got on to my insurance company and got everything replaced, new carpet, furniture, bed, clothes. Even managed to get the TV replaced cause when it was on and heated up it started to smell of smoke.

Ended up going on a $25000 shopping spree :D

Check with janitorial supply stores in your area; you may be able to rent an ozone generator to treat the smoke smell.

After my neighbors house caught on fire, the clean-up crew used large ozone generators.. and the fire smell was gone in practically a day.

Also buy some OZIUM. (light blue spray can).

It's the same stuff hospitals use.. it does a great job of killing the smokey smell.

We cleaned more last night. All of the carpet has now been cleaned.

Well, hopefully by the end of today, the furnace and AC will be replaced and the ac ducts cleaned. Whoo hoo! I hope that helps!

I'll let you guys know if it does.

    • The site is pretty sparse on features / tech specs. Can I plug it into a PC/hone/Switch via USB-C and use it as an external display? If so, what's the virtual resolution of the screen, the refresh rate, PPI of the image etc? Is the text crisp enough to use for coding at say 12pt? Is it good enough for playing dark games, like say Path of Exile 2? How about fast games like car racing games? Just how do they expect anyone to order this thing without giving out all this info?
