0 CustardFD
I've never used PHPNuke, but try looking for an install.php. Usually it will guide you through setting up the database because there are lots of tables, presets, etc... to enter. 0 Tingle
Thread moved Plus i would advise you read the manual :) The best thing to start with is to look for an install.php file somewhere, run that, it may require a database already set up, in which case CREATE DATABASE postnuke; will do the trick Tingle Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/33976-phpnuke-command/#findComment-328641 Share on other sites
0 Tim Dorr Veteran Posted June 24, 2002 Veteran Share Posted June 24, 2002 i thought nuke had a install.php??? Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/33976-phpnuke-command/#findComment-328664 Share on other sites
0 Tingle
it does, but from memory it requires you have a database set up first i think. It was ages ago i installed it, only for testing purposes so i got no idea! tingle Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/33976-phpnuke-command/#findComment-328690 Share on other sites
0 zivan56
If you mean the database setup then.. First you create a database called nuke by: calling mysql.exe (if server is running) type: CREATE DATABASE nuke; exit; then do the following in command prompt: mysql nuke < c:pathtonuke.sql THen you go to http://www.adadasdasdas.com/admin.php and create an admin account. I have not used it in a few years so I am not sure. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/33976-phpnuke-command/#findComment-328703 Share on other sites

0 zivan56
No prob :) Hopefully the creator of phpnuke will make an install script, like most bulletin board and news systems. 0 ChoaticWhisper
Its not to hard to make a install script like PostNuke has. Just need a few simple forms that will write to the config file and a insert into that has everything that the nuke.sql has. I made one for one of my things, But I cant get it to write to the config file on linux.
