my problem is when i use bullet proof ftp server and my router is on my friend cant connect to me only when i connect straight into my cable modem and i notice the ip change when my router is connected so i put the ip number to how it is when im connected to only to modem but im still getting this problem. if anyone knows how to fix it that would help alot

All you need to do for it to work with the router on is to setup port forwarding to forward the FTP port (20 or 21) to your internal ip address. Then use the ip address from your WAN(the one you get when you have the comp. connected to the only to the modem) as the ftp site address.

I port forward before but I took it off now wen I try to go back to the site it don't let me I put the username and password and I get some error if there another way to sign in the website can u plz tell me it would help a lot and u need 2 know I got a linksys

I changed the routers password, and I forgot what I changed it to. Is there anything I can do?

Hold the reset button on the unit for 30 seconds or more and the router will be restored to factory defaults. This also means that your configuration will be set to factory defaults also, so if your router is configured for your ISP you may loose your connection until you set the unit up again. The default password for the router is admin in lower case letters.
