thanks found the link after posting lol.

the VS is very nice. i think i will use it as my main VS for a while now.

the guy who made this VS says

1. Trebuchet MS (Normal font) with ClearType enabled (as in screenshot).

or

2. Bit Stream Vera (Extra Large Font), as this is natively smooth (even on Win2k).

what fonts do i need to change in the desktop settings. (ie) button text etc....

thanks :)

What can I say, this has now become my default VS on my PC, but can I please make one little request?

Please, please, please, for the love of all things holy, can you port this to WB?

I'm sure all the WB users out there would love this to be available.

Cheers.

Thanks!

Trebuchet - Normal Fonts

Tahoma - Large Fonts

BitStream - Extra Large Fonts

No idea about the firefox there, I'm not developing it. PM the guy making it (his name is in first post).

WB version will be made and released when XPMC goes final (not just yet).

Hell0! I'm new to this forum and from having visited it as a guest for the past month for visual styles, I have to say I am impressed by the sheer helpfulness of its members, as well as the vast selection of VS available.

My first question for this VS is:

Does anyone know any good Iconpackager sets to go with this theme?

As well, thanks to B0se for creating such an awesome theme. I generally don't change my theme that much or I find it hard to change from the Windows Classic I've always had, but this one is quite refreshing and smart!

Or you can use LClock (search the forums) to replace the startbutton. Probably the easiest way. ;)

Edit: By the way, would anyone be interested in a Firefox skin I'm working on for myself?

I have no clue when I'll release it since I still havent finished it (I'm kind of new to the Firefox skinning).

    • As much as I love owning my own hardware, it's hard to argue with the value. I'm not a huge gamer, I'd actually be interested in a cheaper plan with limited monthly hours, or even a pay-by-the-hour plan.
    • Well, they (LibreOffice/The Document Foundation) are bitchy and whiny, yes, but they're right, at least this time. It doesn't make sense to market something as "free and open source to thwart dependency on foreign companies' software" but at the same time, using the formats of said companies (Microsoft) by default. That way, you are changing nothing, essentially, you're just using another UI. We all know that users just use the defaults and almost never change them. I'm not saying they should drop other formats altogether, but they shouldn't default to the thing they're trying to run away from in the first place. If you're gonna do something, just go all the way in, don't stop in the middle, IMO. Otherwise, shut up and move along.

    • Vivaldi 8.0.4033.46 by Razvan Serea Vivaldi is a cross-platform web browser built for – and with – the web. A browser based on the Blink engine (same in Chrome and Chromium) that is fast, but also a browser that is rich in functionality, highly flexible and puts the user first. A browser that is made for you. Vivaldi is produced with love by a founding team of browser pioneers, including former CEO Jon Stephenson von Tetzchner, who co-founded and led Opera Software. Vivaldi’s interface is very customizable. Vivaldi combines simplicity and fashion to create a basic, highly customizable interface that provides everything a internet user could need. The browser allows users to customize the appearance of UI elements such as background color, overall theme, address bar and tab positioning, and start pages. Vivaldi features the ability to "stack" and "tile" tabs, annotate web pages, add notes to bookmarks and much more. • I'm surprised they haven't found a way to fix that. As much as I don't like software wasting memory, a file manager is the kind of thing that makes sense to keep running in active memory for super-fast recall. I suspect that is why MS makes their File Explorer part of the main explorer.exe shell, so that it is guaranteed to always be running.
