Im proud to say i stuck through all versions of system

rofl!! :p

actually now that i think about it - some color variation within the theme would be nice.

you know so it a little bit less monotone. eg slight color changes on hovering over buttons etc.

I know what you're saying, but having a theme without flashy mouseovers was the original reason for me starting System, and it's the reason why I still use it myself day-to-day. That said, I am open to trying out ideas - just no promises it'll make it to the final product! ;)

fantastic theme, now i just need to decide if i'm ready to ditch luna element 3 :ninja:

is there a winamp/trillian 3 skin for this or any of the previous versions??

found a bug: with nvidia's window snapping tool enabled, the top of the window will not line up directly to the top of the screen, theres about 5 pixels of space between the top of the window and the top of my screen. if u want a screeny i can post one.

No flashy mouseover on the taskbar OK. However, IMHO, a slight contrast, will help to improve the feedback to the user.

Talking of contrast, can you also try a variation where the Min/Max/Close buttons stand out a little bit better?

guess that makes sence. you style's main appeal the simplisity and usability. most people who i used this style for really could not care less for the mouseovers.

but do make a few color variations in a bit lighter colors, ok?

Like I said, I won't rule it out completely. I'll give it a try and see how it turns out :) Can't say fairer than that!

Sorry, I don't think that can be easily fixed. It's because there is a few transparent pixels at the top to make sure the text & buttons sit in the right place. I'll see what I can do, but from memory it's not easy to get things lined up without it.

Very sexy. It's too bad it's not at GetSkinned, seeing as previous versions were sad.gif

But, even though....

INCREDIBLE. As always....nice job.

Oops! Uploaded now :) Just waiting for auth...

i actually began working on a winamp skin last night but its sort of a rip off of another as i'm just changin textures. idk how far i'll get into it either. my free time is zilch as i work two jobs and the only thing i've ever skinned for is xfire so there may end up being a system winamp skin but it'll prolly be sucky...
