Nope that's not possible becasue then the buttons (close, max, min) will be separate.

Hi kol your theme is great good job

but is still far from perfect

here are 2 more bugs ' i think'

vistaSmall.jpg

1-control panel and other windows like my music dont have a background picture

(sorry if its already mentioned) (or is because i change the shell style?)

2-on shareaza when i select something the selecction appear to be white and cant be read easily

but the theme is very good , is there anyway to put the background on folders

white?

or change the traditional start buttom to the new round one?

anyhow thanks for you theme

salu2 y perdon por mi horrible ingles jejeje c-ya

Thanks everyone :)

KoL:  sorry to continue moaning at you :blush: ,  what about this idea??;

vista5231_2_network_map.jpg

fading black to gray, with the new min/close/max buttons???

i just think it would look really slick :woot:

Yeah I think Im going to create those new caption button. They match the buttons of my theme ;)

Hi, I've installed Vista build 5231 under VMWare and it has a bit different theme, especially another windows titles and buttons. Are you going to update your XP skin to match the original 5231 theme ??? It would be nice :)

and another thing would be nice: same explorer task panels like in Vista. I use that one from Brico packs, but I'm missing the bar at the bottom of the window with file info

Thanks :)

Brico Vista Inspirat Pack 1.1 plus KoL's VistaXP VS 2.0 is a perfect marriage on my office system. Installed the former for the shellstyle, logon, toolbar, ObjectDock and theme hack and then choose the latter for the perfect Vista-style theme. :) I don't have those paid versions of Object Desktop or StyleXP in my office PC. Therefore this method is perfect for me. :)

    • I'd say the first one failed to be as popular as Apple anticipated, but the easy adjustment here is to make fewer of them next time around. It would only be a "flop" if it isn't possible for Apple to recover the design and factory tooling costs given the number of units sold, which I doubt would be the case. It isn't like no one bought them; it just failed to become the new hot phone of the year.
    • You're right that it does not follow the plain meaning of the word, but in this context, it is a legal term defined in 49 U.S.C. Kind of how "wire fraud" laws apply even if a physical wire was not used. Given that it is codified in law, and it isn't just automotive journalists that don't understand evolving technology, I highly doubt congress would change a well understood term just because technology makes the term slightly less actuate.
    • This is exactly why I keep saying we are not ready for human free self-driving. These little "bugs" are may seem like random one-offs. There was also the Waymo that drove between police with drawn weapons and the suspect they were pointing them at. From a software perspective it is easy to understand how those extremely rare situations may not have been programed for, but that is the point. If AI needs to be told to watch out for every possible contingency, then it can never be successful. There will always be the possibility of a first encounter that the AI needs to understand to avoid.
