Hi

I'm using a form to pass a variable ($name) gathered by a textbox into a php script where this variable is echoed and a user is asked if they are sure they want to submit it to a database.

If the user clicks "yes" I am wanting to pass the variable to another form which will submit it to the database.

I know how to use databases (mysql) but the only thing I can't work out is how to pass the variable a second time when it is not a part of an input form?

If you can't understand this please reply and I'll try clarify.

put the variable into the HTML form using a hidden field

Thanks a lot, I could have passed it into the url but I wasn't too keen on that - like to keep the inner workings as hidden as possible and don't like those long url.php?var=ss&var=ss.....etc etc

I'll try it tomorrow.
