fuel925
A few months ago I bought a small bottle of Bacardi, and consumed about a fifth. Now the opportunity has risen for me to tuck into it again, but is it safe? How long do opened bottles of Bacardi last?
soothsayer
Liquor doesn't expire. As far as I know.
phend-one
What is it? Like an opened bottle of flavored alcohol drink? Or is it a bottle of rum? Alcohol has an indefinite shelf life. So that bottle of rum would last forever (if it is properly stored), but the bottle of flavored alcohol would expire. If it has a expiry date, then it expires. G4M3R
I don't think spirits like Bacardi expire, if they did there would be a use by date on the bottle.
fuel925
It's a bottle of rum. I could find no expiry date, so I presume that means it will be fine to drink now? (even though it has been opened previously)
vincent
Drinking Rum will lead to involuntary trollish, no-sense making posts. It is highly recommended that a few glasses of ale would be better for a lonely night at home while deciding to post on neowin Your neowin doc, ripgut :ninja:

phend-one
no. 586249548[/snapback] Heh. Yes, if it's a bottle of rum, for example: Bacardi 151, it's ready for your enjoyment. If it's something like Bacardi Silver or any type of drink like that (cooler-type), it will expire.
Scudworth
haha, in a manner of speaking, most alchohol is made of something that has already "gone bad" so I dont think it can get any worse :p
Simon Thulbourn
Barcardi does not have a expiry date, but how ever open bottles are suppossed to be drank within 1 month of opening due to outside air entering the bottle. -- Note: I work as a Wine Merchant (This covers Spirits also)
