Is it possible to know how to install thoseapplications, because i've double click on the internet explorer and explorer icons, but it's always showing me that the program have met a problem and will shut down. I know that I must not replace those link with the ones that are on the windows folder, so what must I do to make them work? There is only three files on the vista explorer folder: iexplore(1.2mo), explorer(645k) and the readme. Help please, I would really like to enjoy your program, trojan!

I dont think the blur effect would work because the blurr effect is made by the layer rendering with the new 3D technology.

Blur effect is quite possible, and actually being used in some applications for XP currently. Me and my partner are working on porting some script into DesktopX. We'll see what we can do!

It's a good concept but i don't think anyone would use this for every-day browsing. But nonetheless, a very good app. You should be proud of yourself!

I know I wouldn't use it, lol. I'm trying to make this as efficient as possible... I hope to cut down some resources... MABYE.

I would rather see a start menu program!!!  but thats just me

Oracle is coming after this, so keep your pants on!

Okay... I don't know what your problem is, brodeur007. What OS are you using? How much RAM? What video card? It sounds like your hardware or Windows don't support this app. All the files are there...

Oracle is going to be a DesktopX desktop. I'm toying with the idea of porting it to a gadget when I'm done, but it would definately eat up some memory. Oracle is just a codename for now; I hope to name it something like... Desktop Vista, or Fluffy Pink Kittens... :p

^Everybody who read my thread should get THAT one... :ninja:

Can't you type F: into the address bar?

Erm actually an AMD Sempron 3000+ is rated at 2.0 Gigahertz not 1.8 I have the same processor if yours is running at 1.8 then its under clocked ;)

@TROJAN

I like what you have come up with - hope you develop this further - I am happy with what your doing all I want to see is some icons added to add to the functionality a bit however if your going for a 1:1 copy of Vista's explorer then skip the icons and in the top menu bar add links to the control panel and other settings just as the real vista has :) you can add copy to and move to icons into drop down menu just as the real vista has too ?

All I can say for people who think they have a pretty decent video card especially shared graphics at 64MB and expect to run the Real Windows Vista on that kind of set up and have the LDDM enabled drivers for it must be dreaming. I have a Geforce 6600GT 128 MB card and have no speed issues with these widgets. If what Frogboy says is true then its your hardware thats slowing it down not Trojans little programs.

JMO - no flaming or insults intended :)

All Platforms Added cleaners for Claude Code, DNS cache, and many Visual Studio Code forks. Added support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles. Chrome can now clean downloaded AI models. File shredding is safer, faster, and leaves fewer recoverable traces. Improved handling of cookies, symlinks, Unicode filenames, external processes, and configuration files. Improved Expert Mode warnings and long warning dialogs. Fixed crashes related to cleaner detection, invalid Unicode, and malformed cleaner data. • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
