Question
Dark Ride
I just did a fresh install of Windows XP Pro SP2.DirectX 9.0b was insluded with it.
Now when I try to install DX 9.0c it skips the installation and says that DX 9.0c was successfuly installed although when I run 'DxDiag' it tells me I still have DX 9.0b :pinch:
I googled for while and found out that it is probably a SP2 problem. The DX installation seems to think I have 9.0c because I have SP2 installed [which comes with 9.0c by actualy, but I seem to have some kind of beta version with 9.0b].
What should I do ? Is there a way to uninstall SP2 or force DX 9.0c to install ?
EDIT: SP2 is not on the Add\Remove Programs list, so I can't uninstall it that way.
btw, I got 'Juiced' and Colin 'McRae Rally 05' today but I can't play because of that DX problem
