Since it's so close to release the screenshots were removed.

* Prepare for release. :D

Beta was removed. I don't want the beta ending up on any websites and 1800 testers is more than enough. :p

I'm new to neowin. I've been taking a look at these Visual Styles for a while now, but this one by far is the best :) Looking forward to a release....any date in the pipeline?

Em3 loving the new style, I was wondering if you'd take any suggestions for the theme?

In the taskbar the notification area, when the area is closed the menu would be on level with the rest of the taskbar but when the menu is opened it would be pressed down. Here's a pic if you don't know what I mean:

The older versions of element were great, but I do have 2 small complaints about the new one. First, go back to the start button from version 3 or some form of it, that simple gradient is kind of ugly. I think the systray looks a little big, maybe that's just me.

Otherwise, love the new caption buttons, and the shutdown/log off buttons look good as well. Looking forward to this release.

I love the start button, its gonna be a great theme.

One suggestion is to expand the close-maximize-minimize buttons to the full height of the title bar. i hate it when you have to be a sharpshooter to close a window.

Looking good indeed though it looks kinda odd with the vistaesque buttons in the middle when they're supposed to be on top.

Ive always liked element. Using ver 3 now, but I gotta say I really dont like that system tray like it is now. Is that how its going to look final version? I know this is your creation but that system tray is ugly.

I like the way this is going with the new caption buttons and taskbar! Two things I don't like however are the start button, and the way the sliders look - they're a bit too shiny or glossy for my liking.

By the way, I don't know if this has been asked before since I didn't read the entire LE3 thread, but have you ever considered making other colors? The current colour really is the only thing keeping me from using this style over extended periods of time.

The caption buttons are cool I think...I like that they're different from all the other longhorn rip-offs.

@shlomi245: The hotspots for the caption buttons cover the entire height of the captionbar, hitting the right button will be as easy as before. :D

@TheTerminator: I might consider redesigning the tray area, not sure yet. :rolleyes:

@daydream nation: There will be a black version included in the release also. :)

i've modified my LE3 to look like LE4.. well the buttons, progress bar, those pully things ;), and the taskbar.. looks kinda good except i wont go as far as the start menu cause i cba :D
