My All time favourites are (in no order)

The Iron giant (Kids Animation)

Ferngully (another Kids Animation)

Stand By Me (Such a good movie)

Shrek (The second was ok, but the first is class)

Fast Talking (80's australian movie.....the Aussie film industry kicked ass in the 80's / early 90's)

Se7en (if only the got an actor instead of Brad Pitt for the role of David Mills the film would have been 9.0/10 as opposed to just 7.5-8.0/10)

Gas, Food Lodging (A very underrated film by any stretch of the imagination, brilliant soudtrack too.)

Repo Man (Who doesn't love this?)

The Breakfast Club (Brilliant, just brilliant.)

So, my favourite genre is...........not got a clue :p

I like movies that at least attempt to prove thought. I also like films that are a little strange, some might called them Quirky, I guess.

I'm a real David Lynch freak (Mulholland Drive, Lost Highway, Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet and Wild At Heart). I can watch his movies over and over again.

When it comes to horror movies I can't get enough John Carpenter movies (In the Mouth of Madress, Christine, The Thing). I also like his non-horror movies like Escape From LA/New York.

And for Sci-Fi/Fantasy, I think dark and/or futuristic films like Dark City, THX1138, Blade Runner, 12 Monkeys, The Crow, Darkman, The Quiet Earth). No Star Wars/Treck, I don't need to watch a like action cartoon or be bored out of my mind.

I'm really looking forward to seeing The Machinist (for it's story) and Sin City (for it's constant violence, cast and style).

I hate those 'epic' type movies. Lord of the Rings 1 and 2 bored me to no end, I have no intention on seeing the last one. The first Matrix movie was good for it's general style and sence of paranoia, but the sequels were terrible.

I like movies that are character-based. I guess something like Lost In Translation or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind are good examples. Alot of people find them boring but I find them extremely interesting. And of course, I also like the slapsticks...Anchorman, Wedding Crashers, Something About Mary, etc. Gotta laugh for completely obscene reasons once in a while :)

    • Thanks for liking it! 😊 That's Arch Linux with Gnome.
    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
