already posted same thread elsewhere but here goes

pros:

  • approx 2Gb of content, 1.3Gb already put up
  • 8500+ wallpapers, most above 1024px
  • mostly walls of celebs(non-nude) and some vehicles, anime, scenery, OS walls etc
  • site is searchable by name, rating etc
  • contains good walls from skins.be, desktopgirls, etc
  • absolutely free, no pop ups

cons

  • bandwidth available is ony 8 KBps :cry: :cry: ... crappy ISP :crazy:
  • site hosted on old computer with 96Mb Ram and Celereon 266
  • very very slow :cry: :cry: :cry: i shud know... i host the damn thing :pinch:
  • viewing limit for guests, only 3 detailed views per 15 mins, for members its a lot more(membership is free).
  • googleads on every page.... hint, hint

ps: please help out by clicking some ads.

pps: also started making own walls :D

Some wallpaper places I visited tried to download a trojan or some alert (maybe a virus or spyware) onto my computer when NOD32 caught it. As soon as I terminated that virus, I exited from the site.

I wasn't downloading anything, just browsing. Better watch out.

That is a ****ing awesome site!!!!!...You have quality wallpapers man, when i see someone who likes good quality pictures and good shots too, im impressed coz i look for the same qualities!!!

i hate it when i go to a site and the quality is kinda low..or the shot isn't really a good one...but people say, OMG ITS SO GOOD...

      What they really need to do is automatically spell "loses" and "lose" correctly since nobody seems to know how to anymore. Then they blame spellcheck/autocomplete and don't realize autocomplete is just filling in the word for them automatically so it was misspelled in the first place.

      If someone chooses to continue using SB and therefore goes through the manual intervention in the thread, afterwards the BSOD problem is gone. Whether they then re-enable the task doesn't matter, they're done, though on such machines it might pay to keep it disabled in case the next update (if there is a next) causes the same problem. OTOH, if someone disables SB in the BIOS, the problem is also gone. Incidentally, I noticed that this task exists even on machines that don't support SB. It's just installed across the board...and runs. Doing what on such machines is a little hazy.
