Well doh. How about the actual use, I don't really even notice the SuSEconfig as it only takes a few seconds. (15k SCSI drives in a RAID5 might help a bit :blush: )

Wow, you have fifteen thousand SCSI hard drives in a raid configuration? Your computer room must be full of cabling :p

BTW this is not actually 'opensuse', it is suse linux professional 10.0 (beta 1 lol), the first actual opensuse products are due to surface in 2006, according to the roadmap on the site.

Suse is my fave distro tho, been using 9.2 since it came out, looking forward to upgrading to 10.0 :D
