Tested Autopatcher Dutch August during break.

Didn't work.

After trying half an hour, i discovered the problem: my colleague is still working with SP1. Seems the program is good protected! I should have seen it on the startup screen!

Ill try tomorrow on an other pc.

You could have seen it on the downloaded file name!

My brother used the file after reinstalling his windows.

He says it works like a charm.

Only one update file after using the program.

Then thank you bro from me for using AutoPatcher. And I would like to thank you for testing it.

Stay tuned, coming up next........AutoPatcher Septemberrrrrrrrrrr!

- Anyone discovered any problems with the Dutch AutoPatcher August release?

- Are the descriptions that I made for the tweaks helpfull and clear?

- Is it a clear / well-ordered arrangement / lay-out?

Feed me and let me know!

Wasn't able to do the test on an XP PROF SP2 machine, but did the test on an XP HOME SP2 machine.

The tweaks look helpfull and clear, sometimes the translation is a bit strange, but i wouldn't do it better!

I just have a question about the updates: what's the difference between the "black" updates and the "blue" updates?

I looked at the forum, but couldn't immediately find an explanation.

What i found stranger, is the possibility to maximize the screen was disabled!? When you open a lot of options, the screen is to small, and i had to manually adapt the size.

Keep up the good work. I burned the update on a cd, so i can update someone having problems with his XP full off "leaks".

you asked:

My answer:

you noticed:

My answer to that:

dunno  have to take a closer look at that. Can you tell what you tweaks you have installed?

 Now I now why the Dutchies are not posting here, they created a forum to talk about the problems and so on. I'm not happy with that at the first place. The second is that they didn't name the webiste, the credits, etc. Should I answer you question here so you can translate it and post it on the forum? AutoPatcher has his own forum

I think that it's time to send email to the moderators!!!!! :D

For the people who like to know what I'm talking about, here is the url to take a look at it. http://www.tweakers.net/meuktracker/10336 keep in mind that this is in Dutch.

so I've installed the full version and since then every time I double click on a folder or a device in my computer it prompts me the Command window. So I installed the autopatcher again to find out how to uninstall it but I just can't find the patch that did this in the list. Can someone help me with this? Thanks

I think that you have installed the tweak [dutch] "De command-prompt (MS-DOS venster) starten voor folders en schijven" [/dutch] it's available in your contextmenu. If you want to undo it, use the Tweak Undo.exe and select the tweak that you have installed.

But a Double Click? That's new for me........

normally double click is bound to explore or open, now double click is linked to 'open command window' since this one is in the top of the list.

I cant find it in the undo list...

If all went okay, this should be your contextmenu, right?

post-101056-1128339483.png

allright, great, I went to regedit so there I found the proporties for my foldersettings, I removed cmd, so now the find-function is default, everytime I double click a folder it opens the find function. Could a regedit expert help me please :)

586614059[/snapback]

Tell me, what are the problems in this registry paradise?

You just deleted a default value in your registry to open folder / map. Due this action the only value left is "find". You have to tell what you removed form the registry!

Edited by DaFlapDrol

my context menu looks like this:

  • Open command window here
    Zoeken...
    Verkennen
    Openen

same for both devices as folders

now the regedit part

Deze computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\

this map contains the following subfolders

  • cmd
    find
    foobar2000.enqueue
    foobar2000.play

so what I did is, I removed the top one "cmd" so now my default is find

note that the double click > cmd-line does only occure when I'm in windows explorer right field of the screen, in the left field, the explore field is working properly

my context menu looks like this:
  • Open command window here
    Zoeken...
    Verkennen
    Openen

same for both devices as folders

If you first option in your context menu is the way you tolled here, it seems that you have installed the PowerToy Open Command Window Here....... Am I right? I know that you send me something about it by PM. So?

allright, problem solved, microsoft is familiar with this problem

check this link for more info

@Jeroen,

In your case this is a workaround! I have installed the Powertoy "Open Command Window Here" and all works as it should be. No problems like you had. You did a manual remove from the registry. If you did this through Control Panel, add/remove software you wouldn't have any problem.

Anyway, it's working for you now ;)

    • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
