Free host with SQL

Does anyone know of a free host that has cgi, ftp, and sql? i am currently on portland.co.uk but they dont have SQL, which i need for shouthox and news program.

Your best bet is to setup your own server, you can learn how here http://dslwebserver.com You may find a free one, but I dont know of any :(

Well...if you can deal w/php instead of cgi there's always www.tripod.co.uk which gives you 50MB of space, unlimited bandwidth, and about 5MB of mysql.

when you say "with sql" do you mean mysql? "with sql" makes no sense.

I have heard many good things about www.host.sk but i don't know if they have MySQL or CGI because i don't speak their language. :( But try it anyway, maybe u can get a translator or ask in their english forum.

CoolFreePages is OK, but the speed is usually pretty slow. :(

Host.sk was great for a while (unlimited bandwidth/disk space, PHP/MySQL, fast servers), but then too many people signed up and they started having problems. I'm not sure if they even allow sign-ups anymore. The scripts that I had there stopped working, then they deleted my account. :ermm:

I know you said free but $1.99 a month is almost free lol, this is the host www.chitie.com they offer alot of stuff for the lowest price i seen around. Check em out.
