Vista Desktop Version Text

Does anyone know how to remove the two line text string at the bottom right corner of the desktop?

There is a registry hack for it somewhere ... Why would you want to remove it ?

Never heard of that one. Did you do a search in the registry?

i think i always used a tweak prog to remove it during the whistler days.

i have never known a reg key for it....but surely there is.

the answer will reveal itself one day soon.

xp registry key doesnt work on vista... and programm for 5048 doesnt work too...

I didn't think that there was a reg key for it since it is an evaluation edition.

oh :D lol :p is that it:') I saw always wallpapers ripped from vista :) but never saw those words from that evaluation edition. So i though why is it away :) but now i know it :D.:p

dword is being forced by windows to 00000001

so "Attach.ToDesktop"=dword:00000001

even if u put no access permission to that key after u switch it to 000000000!!!!
