I'm sorry, but Windows ME is not very bad. :( I had it on my old computer and had absolutely no problems with it. It's you, the user, that's the problem. I am getting sick of people bashing Windows Me just because it did not do a good job for them, but in mine it work perfect. A perfect update of Windows 98.

For some users Windows ME went just fine but for the most it went horrible. In some cases its probably user error but even the biggest technology groups or what ever you want to call them out there said ME stink's. Tech TV for example Leo always said ME stunk.

I have plenty of experience with ME and I do have to agree that it is a very buggy OS. Performance for me is literally twice as good with an NT-based OS than it was with ME.

It's not that ME is "bad" (cold shiver down my back as i typed that), its that 2000 is better.

Win95 wasn't bad when compared with Win3.1 or DOS. Win98 wasn't bad when compared to Win95.... you can see where this is going.

If I had a choise between ME and 2000, without a doubt I would choose 2000.
