You are not actually trying OSX by doing that BTW. You'll have a bad experience.

thanks,

though im not a Mac fan i like them cos the first comp i ever laid hands on was a Mac (mom's).

Hope i don't have a very bad experience :p

theres also TigerMilk 3.51, sorry can't find a link but if you google it, you should find it. IMO, TigerMilk 3.51 makes more of a "Mac-ish" feeling than the others.

Here is it

http://tigermilk.eb.com.hk/

The guy who made this shell pack includes the followings:

KoL Tiger VS 2.0 (not the latest 2.1) dunno got KoL's permission or not.

SnowE 2 icons

WinRoll

iColorFolder

Y'z Shadow

Y'z Dock

iEx

3r-1c

iShut

Flyakite Bootscreen (oso dunno got permission or not)

Mac OS X logon (looks like Steve Grenier's version)

According to his site, there is no more revision after 3.51.

Okk I am using FlyaKite and its good enough.

But what I was looking for was a complete Mac emulation.

Is there some transformation pack that can replace the start menu as well and make the task bar Mac like and not simply add a theme and change some icons?

Here's the best pack yet, it requieres WindowBlinds, IconPackager and other things, and it justs replaces the cursor, theme, icons, the software is a free trial but you can always buy the software. If I where you, stick with Flyakite, it's the best one yet. If you're really serious for Mac emulation go to a site that's dedicated to it, www.osx-e.com.

Enjoy

dont use this one http://lamorine.free.fr/WinOSX/website/

it leaves icons in the control pannel after installing, it also changes the control pannel title to "Panneau de configuration" i know its only small things

but i wish these transformation packs would uninstall properly. my boot screen didnt change back after uninstalling the flyakite pack.

uh, you need another app to do that.

most people use objectbar. you can find some themes at aqua-soft.org.

Steve Grenier didn't go all out Tiger. His icons are Panther. KoL's WB version is better than Steve's but no other addon's included. Actully 100% following OS X is also not so refreshing. You'd feel bored sooner or later. I'd prefer hybrid ones. WB + Styler + ObjectBar + Iconpackager + Logonstudio. Fantastic mix.

While I think it's nice that there are Mac themes for Windows, a complete modification (system files, layouts etc) is a bad idea. It just never looks anything like the real deal, and it's always irritating to use.

I'd just stick with a Mac-like theme - don't bother going for a 'transformation pack'. I guarantee you'll want to change it back after a while.
