Hi, I love your Luna theme, easily the best one out there

but 4 suggestions/questions

1. is it possible that you might include a squared corners in the future releases as opposed to the rounded ones you have now?

snag00018cw.jpgsnag00009xr.jpg

2. is possible to replace the progress bar meters with the "windows classic" style meters? the current ones are showing incorrectly, well not exactly incorrectly, but have a look

volume at 50, 3 bars

snag00026vv.jpg

volume at 31, still 3 bars

snag00031ko.jpg

Classic

snag00055cy.jpg

snag00062as.jpg

3. the round buttons(links on Firefox toolbar), I don't know why but they don't really look good to me tbh

4. Can you please tell me how do I apply those start buttons you posted?

well that's pretty much all I wanted to say,

btw, I'm new here, love the forum :)

Hi. Welcome.

1. Tbh, I think round corners look best for this style.

2. Not possible.

3. I think they are acceptable so I won't modify them at this point.

4. The alt startbutton I posted is included in the latest release.

@Everyone: I'm taking a break from the graphics/theme scene for a while and moving to the music scene. If anyone is interested in hearing it check this page: http://friedwalrus.com/em3/music.html

Thank you for your fast reply and the info em3 :)

Since you're done with LE3/4 do you plan to allow personal mods to be released?  Just curious :)

No. If it where your theme that you've spent a lot of your personal time on I'm pretty sure you wouldn't like mods either. And I can't seem to find any mods of KoL's, B0se or Stefankas themes so I guess they don't allow either.

But some, like Bant, do.

Special circumstances - if the mod was particualary good - Ashen for example.

Okaaayyyy I'm pretty new to this whole VS deal, but I backedup and patched my uxtheme.dll file and installed LE4.

How do I make the right side of my Start menu icons-only?

Is that something I have to create and implement using ResHack (or is it ResEdit? unless they do the same thing...), or an option I just can't find?

Awesome work on this VS!

No need to throw a hissy fit over my question. You mentioned many moons ago that mods were not allowed because you were still working on the themes. This comment opened the door to the possibility that you would consider allowing personal mods after you were finished. I don't care either way, but thought I'd ask. I sure as hell don't know jack about making themes, so no mods would be coming from me. I will say that I don't see the big deal as long as the modder gave you full credit at the point of release. its your art and you do as you please. Thanks for all you've done :)

Some other themers doned their work to the community making their themes open source even though I'm sure they spent a lot of their personal time making them.

This would be a very appropiate move considering you are abandoning all development on a very popular theme without allowing any modification whatsoever.

There have been a lot of developing of this theme other then from em3 himself. Few themes have had a "mod scene" as active if you ask me. People share the files needed to do their modifications but leaves it up to each and every person how to mod it themselves.

I did that myself and have explained to a few how to do it and I personally liked the experience a lot. This way more people get into theming it self and as em3 said maybe a few people will make themes on their own and that is only a benefit for the community.

Take your time and good luck with the music em3!

Hey could someone help me out with the attached files!

This is a personal mod and for ME ONLY! so no one should be offended by this ;)

Anyways the problem:

I've used MS Paint to edit two Taskbar images, but i need them to have TRANSPARENT bgs, at the moment i have white and a pink bg, would someone be able to make the bg's transparent and save them in BMP or PNG format and then upload them here???

If so that'd be awesome and really make me happy!

MAJOR THANKS

Microsoft recently released SSMS version 22, and in the past few months, it has been steadily releasing point upgrades to refine the integrated development environment (IDE). Now, it has released SSMS version 22.7.0 with a bunch of new features and interfaces. For starters, SSMS 22.7 has netted a native "What's New" page, which highlights the top features and bug fixes present in the latest release. However, Microsoft says that this page won't annoy you much as it will only show up each time you update SSMS, and once you dismiss it, it won't be shown again to you until the next release. Secondly, Microsoft has finally introduced T-SQL formatting inside SSMS. The good thing about this is that it does not require installing any additional components, as it is built into the native experience. All you have to do is right-click the query editor window and select Format SQL from the context menu. Additionally, you also have several customization options at your disposal, such as the ability to automatically place semicolons at the end of a statement, split clauses across multiple lines, and more. However, this capability is only in preview for now. Additionally, Microsoft has introduced a preview of Agent Mode, which allows the AI model to automatically perform complex workflows on your behalf. Furthermore, Agent Mode will operate in read-only mode by default, so that you don't have to worry about the AI model accidentally deleting your data. On a related note, Microsoft is finally allowing users to configure the execution context of GitHub Copilot. This can be controlled per database using the CONSTITUTION.md file, where you specify the user details for the agentic executor. You can find details about this and additional bugfixes in Microsoft's blog post here.
    • I only use 3 extensions in Zen. I don't need or want a ton of stuff in my browser i don't use.
    • I prefer to choose my own ad bockers, not what the browser seems to think I need. i remember the days when a browser was just that, now they try and be everything and add stuff in that not all of us want. I bet Brave is full of AI rubbish? I will stick with Zen, not perfect, but better than others.
