@em3 since your changing the icon in the start menu to the vista one, maybe you should incorporate some more of the vista features into the next release.

such as the new toolbar setup, minus the file, edit bit, and just having the address bar and back and forward buttons,

and also making "Segoe UI" the default font, if changed manually it causes all the buttons for close and minimize to go all weird as it chnages the bar size.

Replys:

Imo all Vista features aren't good, at least not for XP. I'm trying to remake the windows completly for the black style. It's still a very early though, and I haven't got any idea what it should look like, so this might take a while.

Segoe UI is nice, but not for small font sizes imo.

Logon was removed. Will design a new one.

I've stated working on a Winamp 5 modern skin. No images to show yet, I want to complete more parts in the design first. I'm keeping it as classic as possible with a modern look. I will need help with the coding once the design it is done.

Well since KoL's is a clone off a Vista style interface, then i imagine he is using Segoe UI

but so what its Microsoft's new font, and its slick. em3 and anybody else is entitled to use it cause its a MS product not a personal item of KoL's

What's next?

I hope your not thinking of having Menus, Windows, and Icons, that'd look like KoL's too!

Grow up, get a life, enjoy LE4 as it should, and back em3 for all his hard work.

I was feeling lazy and didn't want to check to see the font name of Kol's theme to se if they matched. Segoe UI looks like crap on my Dell 1704FPT 17" monitor. Its washed out and faint looking. My opinion that it shouldn't be used and in no way thought it was Kol's property.

Don't F'ing tell me to grow and and get a life! Excuse the hell outta for thinking we could offer opinions/ideas in this thread  If I was slinging insults at Kol and em3, then you would be justified. You GROW UP AND GET A LIFE!

Black style will be improved in next version. It was to gray imo so I'm making it darker. It will look awesome. :)

wow. i can't belive i just discovered this theme.

would it be possible to make the whole task bar the same black shade as the start button? i think that would be perfect.

Common guys this is em3 thread not mine. If you want to talk about the font used in my theme go to my thread :D

btw denzilla my theme use 3 different fonts. If you dont like one you can chose one of the other twp.

    • Got it. Seem like a good improvement. Thanks. But, before we "Add the source to Trusted Sites," how would know if it is trusted or not? Could get messy for not first Knowing" it is clean. See what I mean?

    • I just started using Teams (and “New” Oiutlook) at work (instead of Slack) and both are truly abysmal pieces of software.
