qmail+vpopmail (for virtual users) +courrier (imap, imaps, pop3, pop3s)+horde

There's no "all in one" but this is what I have.

Once it's set up you're a MAN.

Well, when I tried I contracted cancer. When I went to upgrade it to the lastest horde and the lastest imp, it killed my dog and clogged my sink.

But once it is set up you leave it like that and it works. :)

But anyways this comes from someone who set up qmail the good old fashionned way -- you know, no preset environement or packages. Just a tiny tarball. You have to write the startup and maintenance scripts. And create stuff, max permissions... that should give you cancer plenty of times. But once you go through it, you know it forever and can set one up really easily and know how to debug it when it dies. (which is a rare occurence. qmail really is a case of "set it and forget it".)

Nowadays it is pretty easy to install qmail with all the helper packages.

It looks awesome,

Screeny for the win:

    • The level of stupidity at Google and Microsoft is beyond belief. All they are doing by killing this is forcing people to jump over to Firefox and ditch them all together, therefore giving Firefox the market boost it needs to finally crush them all in the end.
