Q: Remove the ATI logo from the Pipe Dream Demo

Question

I really love the Pipe Dream Demo (Animusic) from ATI (Direct Download - 45.3MB). :)

post-20663-1125615453.jpg

I would really like to remove the ATI Radeon 9700 logo and the mouse, does anyone know how to remove them?

You can rename Sushi.ati to Sushi.zip and extract it but I don't know which file(s) to edit. :/

I'll see what I can find. God I love my internet connection. Just clicked on the download and 1 minute later... done.

Hey that is pretty cool. I'm looking.

Also can change the resolution too ;) 1280x1024 looks so much better on my monitor

Lol, and maybe possibly perhaps he is doing a tech demo on an nVidia card to a board full of nVidia execs :p

Seriously tho, I don't see the point, unless you are planning to use the animation in some specific way?

The Animusic DVD does rock tho... does anyone know when the Animusic 2 DVD is released? (if it hasn't been already!)

Yep,.. :D the only things I've found are showchipLogo and atiLogo in SushiDX.exe and AtiLogo.tga + Mouse.tga in Globals.ati.

If you add atiLogo = T in Sushi.ini the Radeon 9700 logo gets replaced with a big ATI logo. :pinch:

I always disliked the logo somehow. :p

Maybe I should explain myself further: I don't dislike the logo because it's from ATI but because it's there, like the mouse icon.

It's also possible to edit the refresh rate: :)

Edit Sushi.ini and add refresh = X where X stand for the refresh rate that you want to use.

Yes, Animusic is awesome. It was this demo that persuaded me to buy the DVD. As for Animusic 2, it'll be out October 29, 2005.

^^^ Same here! :)

I own the "Animusic Special Edition" DVD (5.1 Surround + extra's).

When you press F1, the mouse icon disappears, so there's no need to edit it. :)

I discovered that the logo's are located in Globals.ati.

Does anyone know how to edit the logo's out of it? (AtiLogo.tga &/or ChipLogo.tga)

I can't really give you advice on how to edit it, as I don't know myself, but it still bemuses me as to why you want to remove them. Normally when people go about removing trademarks and logos (etc.), it's so they can use the content (or whatever it is), rebranded as their own. I hope your not doing that ;)

No way! It just bugs me,.. it is'nt from ATi nor nVidia, it's from Animusic (that logo does'nt bug me).

As I said before, I own the Animusic Special Edition and it's nice to see it in real-time, especially without the logo's.
