Well, it could use a slightly better processor, somewhat higher quality RAM (not more, just higher quality), and (if you really care) maybe a better power supply (which might mean different case). Top priority would be the processor, I guess. What if you got a somewhat less expensive soundcard and then maybe a 3500+ Venice instead of the 3000+?

Looks fine from here aswell, but id be tempted to go for 2x1024mb Modules of ram :)

Also is that gfx card SLi ready? Cos u never know in the future u may stick another one in there :D

Edit: and yea, i was going to mention a better quality PSU too :)

what i have listed is around $1,200 i could go maybe $100 higher if i find something that really is a MUST have. Really it all depends on the product. I don't wanna send $500 on a video card or anything like that cause that's wayyy outta my budget at the moment. I'm looking for great products with good feedback and not high priced.

well, go to the egg, im sure you find great deals there!

the onboard sound on the mobo I believe is 5.1, chconline should know, so I dont think there is need for the sound card, also, do not trust the psu that comes with the case, find the case without a psu and get yourself an enermax noisetaker 520W or something, build the pc at newegg.com and let us know if it can pushed higher

Yes the card is sli ready.

Can anyone make some recommendations on better ram and a better quality power supply. hopefully the case has a bit of room for a bigger power supply.

The ram you had before was fine, no point in spending more. This "higher" quality people mention just means lower timings, which don't "really" matter that much. Antec/SeaSonic/Enermax PSU. Make sure it's a 24pin native PSU with either 2 PCIe connectors or some sort of splitter. Also if you consider overclocking, the 3000+ will probably be about the same as the 3500+.

When i said get more ram, its not that important, its just what i would want personaly....but ur choice is wrong, either get 4xTWIN 512's or 4xCorsair 512's (you really dont want mixed ram), preferably, get 2x1gb sticks (same brand/model)...

As said above, memory timings arent worth the extra cash imho....

Also the PSU's aznx mentioned would be fine :)
