Tired of getting NET_GetPacket: WSAECONNRESET when hosting quake2 serv

Micrsoft claims it fixed the NET_GetPacket: WSAECONNRESET error in service pack 2, but has not. I installed the latest version of service pack 3 for win2k pro and its still the same SH**. This happens on Xp and win2k pro anybody know of any fix that I can try?

i dont know if the same error when i hosted a server at my lan i used to get this error and it was going crazy. but the server still ran fine. wierd.

What kind of server are making.

is it a mod or just normal.

Also is it a dedicated server or listen server.?

It works fine running dedicartad but, I like to run a listen server.

And I'm hosting Freeze Tag it does it with all mods.
