Counter Strike: Source problem...

Hey everyone, I downloaded the update for CS: S only to find it dosn't work anymore. I load it up and my screen stayes black and my LED on the monitor just blinks...nothing else...I have a video (10.6mb) if you dont know what I mean. If anybody could help thanks.

the latest update screwed all the mods up for hl2, have a look at the hl2 section of the steampowered forum, the community is going mad over this

Every so often when a server is loading up a map in CS:S it will crash

ohh well

Not sensible to be banging the monitor like that.

I think there might be more updates before DoD is realeased.

The new update has a sound bug too, its a non-stop rolling of barrels and cans.

Aha! I just launched steam and look!

Start Steam go to play games;

right click on cs:s; properties;launch options; type -dxlevel80

or

-dxlevel70

should fix the update problem
