I imagine this will start off pretty boring, but as more people upgrade to 2.0 and start jailbreaking again, I imagine we'll get some pretty interesting looking desktops. I'm also hoping Panic or someone else releases a Candybar-like app for the iPhone.

I disagree. Although its a bit on the early side, as soon as 2.0 is unlocked and jailbroken, they'll be so many people asking how they did that, or what is that wallpaper, the generic mobile desktops thread will just turn into an iPhone thread...
