Request to KOL !after such a good succes in VistaXP windoBlinds theme maybe this idea will be attractive for you

I made this skin for Windows XP(right now Im using it).

Since Longhorn was realised the theme challengr began, microsoft released many excellent themes, but many of them didnt come in beta releases (builds) so idecided to summ all good ideas and made rally nice skin (as for me),

I spent too many time in Photosop trying ti build this - i used simple colours + some layers ("white to transparent", blur effect and some other).

After creating PNGs I used ResHacker and replaced the original "caption", "frame" and other parts og visual theme, I replaced them witn my. The result you can see on screenshot.

I riped Longhorn 5203 theme from KOL and I dont want to just realeased reped work.

Wayting for windowBlinds release...

You should PM him about it. How far along are you? IF you're done with it already, then I guess it would be up to him whether or not you can release it, but if it's just a mockup, I think it would be best for you to contact him directly as soon as possible about him creating it. I don't mean hassle him, but a simple PM should do the job, right?

Looks very nice. The problem with that is going to be the toolbar. Using it with that height is no problem but when the toolbar is smaller or bigger the image wont look good. It will stretch ot tile the image, depending on the setting.

looks nice, but to sour the thread..

- this is in the wrong section, its not a completed visual style, from what i gather

- calm down, slow down, learn to speak coherantly..

- im sure this would have been better suited as a pm to KoL (im aware he has replied, however)

alright folks let's not turn this into a flame war. keep it clean and be NICE! if it's then the wrong section just report it and have it moved. ^_^ but the theme does look slick line

      The original word arts were far more awesome! With their own preconfigured fill patterns, 3D layout, etc, with options to fine-tune their size and colors as desired. I especially loved the ones circled below and still miss them from my primary school years: I frankly use them less these days 'cause the new one isn't as straightforward fine art as what we originally had, taking time and effort to get back to the same graphics quality as the original offered, which I simply don't have enough of for merely fine-tuning my presentation titles. Same with the built-in picarts selection. Bring back the original pre-configured options for word art then I'll be using them far more frequently in my presentations even today.
