Bittorrent Clients

Aside from Azureus, Tomato Torrent, and the official client; are there any other decent BT clients for OSX available? Tomato Torrent is nice, but I don't like the seperate window per torrent interface. Azureus is my second choice, but it runs so sluggishly.

Surely that can't be all that's available for the Mac.

Transmission is apparently nice - I haven't tried it yet but a lot of members seem to think it's good.

Transmission have replaced Tomato Torrent as my favorite client.

Its not fully featured yet, but its gets the job done!

Yup Transmission is great, but in very early beta stage. :)

That doesn't stop me from using it tho. :laugh:

I use Azureus, yes, it's java, and it's not really good written, but I think the set piority for each file to download is very useful.

I've used bittorrent, Tomato and, I think, Azeurus. Quick question:

Are there any other clients that allow you to move the directory. I'd like to be able to direct the files to go to one of my FW drives.

i was using azureus until recently when i went to the theater with my girlfriend's collegues (all apple store employees) and they brought up transmission as another good client. haven't switched back since. It basically looks like the Safari download window.

Transmission is really starting to impress me. Few weeks ago, I would've sworn by Tomato Torrent but now...not so much. :p

I don't like transmission. EVerytime I try to download something it just says Downloading from 0 peers. ANd it never start the download. Mybe I am doing something wrong because it's just not working for me. :(

I like tomato torrent too. They just need to update it to have everything in one window.

i used to use transmisson, but switched to azureus. It downloads twice as fast as transmission, and only needs one port to be opened on your firewall. Alot more advanced, and sluggish at 1st, but when you've configured it, it should work like a dream :)
