Shame about the 50MB of memory usage compared to the 20MB traditional Steam uses, but nevermind its only in beta.

For a company which can create a game as good as Half-Life 2 they sure can't develop good applications.

I got bored and wanted to try out Fireworks 8, so then comes out a quickly made version of how I think Steam should look. :p Also I got lazy once I got to make the games list, so I just copied it from the beta interface. I'm not sure I really like how it is juts categorizing games by installed or not.

I actually like this new version alot, looks really, really good to me.

I was bored as well, and all I did was take in all of the borders and everything like that 4 pixels in width all around (meaning every border I took off 4 pixels either width or height wise.) so this is the same exact interface that the came up with, just slightly smaller all around. I also rounded off the grey around the games to match all of the other corners. I did this in about 5 minutes so it is a little rushed, and for the record I took the coming soon off of Lost Coast to make my life easier, so no, I do not have it yet. ;)

i am waiting for a skin like the one richard posted. that one is really nice

well for the new ui, i kinda like it. easier to move around in and is more responsive.
