My stupid network card is ****ing me off again. I can't connect to the internet anymore unless I bridge my Ethernet Adapter to one of my 1394 Net Adapters. I never had to do this before though and I liked it better the way it was before. My computer gets assigned 2 network adresses now (192.168.101 and 192.168.102). I have a cable modem that goes through a linksys WRT54G router. I attached a screenshot of the network connections folder. thanks.

Finally got it fixed tonight. Stupid ****. Don't ever buy a linksys wireless router people, it always gets f'd up for no reason. After installing a new ethernet card and disabling both 1394 connections, I was still unable to access the internet. I went and changed a setting and then the internet worked, but I was still getting assigned multiple/weird local IP addresses from the stupid router (and they didn't correspond to my MAC adress either). Eventually, I tried the all fixing, all powerfull, last resort fix (should have tried this before, but I swear I already did!):

Unplug router, unplug modem, plug modem in, plug router in. I have no idea why stupid crap like this always happens to me but I sure hope I can always fix it by unplugging the stupid router. anyways, for everybody that has trouble with their connections (through a router) , always try doing this first!
