Wow. All the bug fixes have just smacked me in the face for being unfaithful to the first version of BM. Still, I'm an ass, and I love to nitpick. The sort direction glyph is invisible:

Also, it's not really a bug as it only does it on my desktop, but not my laptop or a clean virtual machine, but I'd imagine it'll happen to somebody somewhere - anybody have an idea why this happens? It looks a little bit odd with icons set to 48x48... it's a neat idea, but it might be impossible to really get right.

And just so I'm not being all whiny and stuff, I'd be willing to volunteer to have a go at the logon screen... if somebody who has a better rep for doing them offers, that might work nicer, but I'm willing and I've got time :p I've updated the Trillian skin and done a mod of the VS to put the orange selection highlights back in; I don't really think they're worth releasing, but if anyone wants 'em, PM away.

Nit-picking nanny. :p

I'm plannong on changing the Places selection image in the next release (2.1?) and the glyph... ugh, "bug" (why did yo make me say that?) will be fixed. ;)

Thanks for the update! It's great. I will keep this for a long time...

BTW there is a small bug in some of the dialog windows (e.g. 'run'):

This has existed since v1, and I have not been able to figure out what causes it. Hopefully someone can shed some light on it for the next release.

Any plans for a Logon Screen? or Log-on/Shut Down/Stand-By Dialog? Or can you point me toward a tutorial on how to make them.

Funny you should ask, I made a mockup in Photoshop a while ago, but I lack the experience of making logons. If anyone has experience and knows how to put it together, I'll send you the resource file. :)

I like it, but someone needs to creat a good logon screen for this theme :D

I was planning on waiting until I heard back from The Valkyre before posting this, but it's been over 24 hours since I forwarded the logon to him and I haven't heard back, so here we are. Enjoy. :) (You'll need LogonStudio to use this logon screen - it's free, and you can delete it straight after applying the Black Mesa screen.)

This is a WindowsXP logon screen created in LogonStudio from a mockup by The Valkyre. It matches the Black Mesa v2 visual style, which The Valkyre also made. I just turned the mockup into a working logon screen with LogonStudio.

It's only been tested at 1280*960; I don't think it would look good at lower resolutions, but at higher ones it should be okay... I think. :)

I apologize, I've been trying to figure out how to eliminate the orange text bug I found. Oh well, looks like there isn't a way to get rid of it. :)
