Command Prompt problems - help!

Sorry to say, but you are infected with a virus.

Cmd.com is a trojan, the command shell is started with cmd.exe.

Use a startup program like Startup Control Centre ( http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml ) to remove unwanted .bat or .exe files and you'll have to remove suspect .com files that have been installed into your \windows directory as well.

Don't believe me? Click start/run and enter cmd.exe. Your command prompt will work.
