i have a process in hijackthis since a week called install driver table manager.. it's from macrovision code .. what's this? ... :blink:

I too noticed this in my system, in my case after installing Roxio CD burning software. In my case, the Registry shows:

Description: Provides support for the Running Object Table for InstallShield Drivers

Display Name: InstallDriver Table Manager

So, it's most likely related to Install Shield.

I frankly just delete it from my MSCONFIG file when I notice it there. Also note that in many instances, that entry ( InstallDriver Table Manager ) is already marked or set "Stopped" as a Windows Services in MSCONFIG.

ALSO, note that since Install Shield is widely used, this entry in both MSCONFIG and in the Registry may be seen more than once.
