The Matrix: Path Of Neo

Recommended Posts

After checking out the vids and pictures for this game i cant help but feel that it will be like enter The Matrix. A failure!

I am seeing the same animations and graphical glitches in these movies that match the other matrix game.

My confidence in Shiny was bashed  when enter the matrix was a flop. I wonder if this one will be too...

Let me know what you think! :D

i don't think the game will be a game classic... like aoe ... quake...or UT .. but it's a game none the less.. i'm a HUGE matrix fan .. of all the movies and games.. dispite being bad or good. for me.. i'm definatley getting this game, simply because i have to.... even though it could be the most buggy, most crappy known to man .. somtimes, bad games..... really bad games.. can be good too.. and this is one of those games for me

I know what you mean, is the nostalgia value, and i will get it even if everyone says it sucks...

Ahh yet another stance at which Yosh stands alone; I'm the only person who really enjoyed Enter The Matrix. I loved the fighting as it made me feel like the character. Too bad gravity exists in real life. Damn you, building top! :pinch:

Anyway, I hope it isn't rushed. I'm not going to judge the game, as it isn't released, but they could secure a hit if they take their time & refine this bitch.

That really doesnt' mean much though, a poorman's playboy magazine isn't really a leading source for gaming reviews and opinions in general.

personally I dred it enter the matrix was boring as hell, grainy crappy coffee break quality acting overall it was crap.

I dunno if they can make a better game out of that old crappy engine, ah well I'll have to wait and see.

Well after seeing the game, I have to say, I hate it. :p

Sucks on every level.

And not even "die hard" matrix "fans" will be pleased because one of the games endings has queens 'we are the champions' dubbed over it. I laughed myself to sleep over that one! :D

Gamespot rated it 6.8. Hardly worth getting out of bed for is it?

This just highlights the fact Shiny/David Perry cant do anything right. Might go watch Mr Perry on the matrix Boxset DVD in a minute. Talking about Enter the matrix being amazing and going to be big. I fancy a good laugh.

David Perry. I wish you the worst of luck in your career and more importantly your health! :x

path of neo... aka "bug festival".. aka "the art of programing"

what a load of crap... i want my bandwith baaaack  and dont start on me about original with this one

at least it was funny watching all the bugs and hearing the gay guy singing the gay song at the end.. matrix and queen.. what a trip... WTF ? ? ?

 WAY TO GO ATARI!! GIVE US MORE LAUGHS PLZZZ!!

Teh game was AWESOME!Teh best game evah...Like that Joel Schumacher's movie...I think it's called Batman & Robin!

It's framerate is worse than any PS1 games. The sound has it's own A.I. and free will...plays when and if it wants. After all...all about Matrix is all about choice. The music supervisor definetely has ear problems. It has more bugs than Prince of Persia...both 1 & 2!

Matrix:The Path Of Neo...vis a vis,The path of the Bugs!

i'm in the middle of it, and although i think the graphics are worse than enter the matrix, the games play is better, and i'm in the chateau which i'm really enjoying, although i will say gameplay gets a repetitive after a while... and that graphics engine really just has to go, talk about not having an attention to detail... i hate how all the models' hair looks like a wig or how the neck, torso, and head dont blend together and you get a whole lotta clipping, and the motion blur... ooo how i hate motion blur... geez gta3 looked better than this and thats not saying much

It aint that bad

Gameplay is actually quite good in it and the cut scenes look great too

but there are a few letdowns with it too, graphics in game aint that good, the shooting system is a bit crap, camera angles are dodgy on some levels and sometimes the framerate can drop a bit

apart from that it aint a bad game apart from the inperfections

6/10 for me

in fairness it isn't a bad game, it's no classic but it's well put together.

the camera angles can be a bit dodge as mentioned above, and the shooting system feels a little vague but in all fairness guns are a tad inaccurate in RL so it kinda works out ok, the hand 2 hand system is brilliant, and the story is obviously good. the graphics are fine if you turn them up to 8-10 i personally found no slow down at this level, it doesn't look like fear, but it isn't exactly doom either.

if you want to play a kung fu game based in the matrix, which will amuse you in your spare time it's perfect.

8/10

Once you get past turning all your anti-virus off so you can actually install the thing. Then totally formatting your computer so the ****ing copy protection can kick in (Bare in mind I'm talking about a legimitimate copy of the game) and then making the matrix config file not read only so you can actually edit the game options and finally get the ****** to start!

Its one of the most enjoyable games in ages. Ashame about the absoloutely ****ing poor copy protection and other glitches involved when trying to start the ******.
