Ok its been out for long enough to play with now,

Those of you with TOP end systems, i dont mean high i want every setting maxed - lets see what valve can do with thier engine.

Top all the settings, show off those double resolution textures and high poly models.

Ditto this. Inplode, please take a screen or two showing the FPS please.

My 64 3500 & BFG 6800 have to be run this level at 1024*768 to run smoothly (60+fps, and it does dips sometimes to lower 40's).

I tried to set it to 1680 * 1050, with my default recomended settings, and I was getting a whopping 20 fps. :cry:

really crappy game if you ask me, but here are some...

1280x1024, 6x AA, 16x AF, reflect all...blah blah, same settings as Inplode, just different res.

mines on a P4 3.2Ghz, 1GB ram, 7800GT OC (480Mhz/1.2Ghz), btw...i forgot to include that.

I was expecting it to play crappy on my system since I only have 512MB of ram but it played like a dream, I guess my X850XT PE helped out a ton :D steady 50fps with 2xAA 4xAF @ 1680x1050

To enable The Console.

Options/Keyboard/Advanced/check off Enable Developer Console. Then press ~ while you are in the game to drop down the console and type in one of the commands below.

To enable FPS.

To show fps, all you neeed to type in the console is cl_showfps 1 or net_graph 3

We have a semi-simlar setup all things considered, so I am curious to see what you get FPS wise.

Right now I am short 1 GB of ram, I usually have 2 like you do, but I let my girlfriend's brother borrow a gig for a comp I just built for him until his ram gets delivered sometime next week. I am wondering if not having that gig of ram is hurting me more than I think it might be, so make sure to post back if you can. :)
