i have a problem with my screen

when i use the copmuter ,, the screen close (turn off) automaitcily for 2 sec and return open !

So ,, anyone can help me, please ?

Try running Spybot and Ad-Aware to see if you haven't got any virus. If that doesn't help, reinstall your video drivers.

Care to give some more details about your problem? Does it happen only once or periodically? Does it happen when you play a game?

I Try running Ad-Aware , and i delet all bad file .. and i make Scan for the pc by antivirus .. SAME PROBLEM !! ~_~ !

Update your video card to the latest driver.

Check if you are maximizing display resolution or refresh rate (right click on desktop, click properties).

Lower these setting, it might help. I got this problem before when I turn my refresh rate to 120Hz and it keeps on clicking.

If these still don't work, go to your screen maker and install monitor driver.

Last resort: fresh installation of XP.

Reinstall drivers, go through your settings, maybe reinstall the OS if you think its worth it. Do the icons or menus change in size after the screen goes off? How many times does it happen during the day? At what time? Could it be a power supply problem (to your graphics card in the computer, the PSU, is it cheap?) or a problem with the power in your home (do you have a surge protector at least?). I hope your problem stops soon!

If you are familiar and comfortable working inside the computer, make sure the video card is firmly seated in the slot.

i think your Montior is mess up. inorder to confirm my guessing. go try your CPU with other monitor.
