PS3 Won't Play Used Games ?

yeah so, i was trying to point out that there is more than 1 source now saying the same thing..... could mean bad news for sony and me as i tend to purchase cetain games 2nd hand....

Dude, it's the same source, The Inquirer are just relaying the article.

Agreed on the market share thing, this will pretty much Destory the PS3, i prefer the PS3 over the 360, but if this is true, ill be skipping the PS3. i dont burn games or anything, but i DO try and rent / borrow them if possable to see if i will like them, i have a PSP, and alot fo the games i have ( almost all that are avaliable to the PSP ), i have only touched once. i didnt get into the Final Fantasy Series untill i borrow'd it.

Alot of people take their games over to friend's house's so they can play, this will null and void that. requiring the person to bring their hardware, and having to switch it out depending on the game.

Good though that they confirmed it wasn't true. One less piece of DRM on the already DRM'd-to-hell Blu-ray technology.
