How to check if user has Multiple AIM Screen names

Recommended Posts

I dont know if i posted this in the right spot.. but i was just wondering if there was some type of program or way of finding out if someone has made up a new AIM screen name? I know you can find people through an e-mail address but im not sure what e-mail they would have used... does anyone know or can anyone help me?

not possible. e-mail search is your only option.

you could get the person to directly connect to you on both of the suspected screen names and do a netstat -n in command prompt, and see if the ip address are the same...

other than that, not possible.

No, that won't work for him xdjoynerx. His problem is that he thinks someone has created a new screenname and not told him about it, and he wants to know. No there is absolutely no way for you to know this, period. Without somehow breaking into the AIM server, and searching for matching IP addresses logging on from different screennames.

[Edit] Actually, let me clarify. There is no technical way to do it. There's the obvious asking mutual friends and hoping they're not privy to the fact that this person is trying to avoid you.

sorry, i misinterpreted the post.

the only way to see if the person has other screen names you do not know about is to search by e-mail, and type in the address that they used when creating the screen name.
