Any idea how i can up-date my favorite theme (opera) cant find a update on the web and was wondering how easy it would be to do it myself, other things like adblock which i would of thought should be updated by now seeing as its so popular?

Tools->Themes->click find updates or right click and select find update.

If no update found you will have to wait for theme developers to update his theme...can't bump version because your address bar/statusbar and options panel will be completly screwed.

EDIT: did find this

http://www.extensionsmirror.nl/index.php?showtopic=4012 you will have to bump the version though for this to work. THis one you can bump because it was made to work with deer park which already had the changes in the code that i was talking about earlier.

Thanks anyway :)

Here it is in the theme window just in case :)

If u can find the files for the theme on your computer and u can find install.rdf (or name.rdf)

try opening it with notepad and then find the line that says max version and change it to 1.5 then save it.

It MAY make it work...

If its in a file such as theme.jar rename it theme.zip and try opening it with winrar or some other archiver and you should find the .rdf file inside ;)

The autoupdate stuff works slick. I used it to go from RC1 to RC2.

The best part about it is that mom/pop-type users will be able to update easily and painlessly, unlike every other update system I have used.

Never again should we have to worry about showing up someplace and Firefox not being the latest version.
